The Work of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition 1928-1930 - W. L. G. Joerg
Soft-cover book dated 1930 and in good to very good condition. Has a ¼"-½" separation of the wrap on the upper part of the spine. Also has two small bits of acid wear on the back cover, shown in the close-ups. Mild to moderate soiling and mild wear overall. Minor tear to the back cover and a few minor tears inside. Published by the American Geographical Society. This booklet presents a running acount of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition, and is unique because it is derived from newspaper despatches.
