Magnin & Co. Business Card - Circa 1950 I. Magnin & Co. Business Card - Circa 1950   Old business card for I. Magnin & Co. in very good to excellent condition. Standard business card size, about 3 1/2" X 2". This card if from the Seattle, Washington store on Fifth and Union. The business card is undated, but probably from the 1950's, perhaps earlier. I. Magnin was founded in 1876 by Mary Ann Magnin, and originally was a shop in San Francisco that sold high end clothing for infants. The company was absorbed by Macy's in the 80's, and the name was dissolved in the 90's. Interestingly enough however, in 2006 Macy's began using the name on Ladies' apparel. Great old piece of fashion history!
