The elaborate needlework was done entirely by hand, and it is just flawless. Floral sprigs in each corner, and small insects dotted between each set of corner designs. A center border of drawnwork lace in a floral pattern, and finished with tiny rows of drawnwork along hemlines, running through to outer edges at corners. White on white, 33" x 34". It is not even slightly soiled but it is direct from auction, so it should be laundered before use.
