De Witt & Co. :: Magazines :: Collier's Magazine :: Collier's Magazine - October 10, 1942 - Bill Gillies

Collier's Magazine - October 10, 1942 - Bill Gillies
Collier's Magazine - October 10, 1942 - Bill Gillies
Collier's magazine from 1942, complete and in good condition, showing some damage and wear (see below). This issue is a little "rough", compared to the vast majority of magazines listed, but I couldn't help but pass on this fabulous cover illustration by William Gillies! Measures about 10 3/4 " X 13 3/4 " with 74 pages.

What's Inside:
SHORT STORIES:
Jumping Horse Man by Vereen Bell
This Wondrous Symbol by Mona Gardner
It Ain't Gonna Rain No More by Edwin Lanham
Lawd! Lawd! by John Faulkner
Credentials by Richard English
SERIAL STORIES:

...and of course the usual departments and fantastic advertising of the period!
