Antique Bearskin Coat - Bear Skin - Overcoat

Antique Bearskin Overcoat. Dense black over brown fur with heavy quilted cotton lining. Coat is in very good condition, inside and out. The fur is lustrous, the hide supple.
The pieces of hide used to create the pockets were folded to the inside to create fully fur-lined outer pockets. The skin naturally shows along these folds as the fur separates there, but shows little to no wear to the fur.
There is a small (less than 3/4") bare spot on the collar... unobtrusive as it is partially hidden by fur, and also because the skin is so darkly dyed to match the fur.
The lining is also in great condition, mild soiling near hemline, and a 5" seam separation, but no real damages of any kind. Underarms are lined with leather. Sleeve ends have inside wool sweater cuffs. Front closure with four sets of heavy wood toggles, with heavy cotton cording, all in excellent condition.
Collar is wide, dense, and can easily stand on its own, or be worn flat across the shoulders.
One inside pocket, original label still attached, "Manufactured By Cownie Tanning Company, Des Moines, Ia."
Coat was measure laying flat on a table so measurements are approximate:
Width across the back between shoulder seams 21"
Length of back from neck seam to lower edge 52"
Sleeve length from shoulder seam to wristband 26"
