1910s cotton day dress in very good condition. Dress has some small rust spots near lower edge in front, and has one small hole, on the skirt side-front, about level with the lower edge of inset. No other damages of any kind.
Wide tucks run the length at either side of center-front inset, with side-front snap closure hidden beneath. Single center-front wide tuck below the inset, this has the look of a placket. Inset is slightly gathered at neck edge with bias tape binding. Flat collar is sailor-style in back.
Dress originally had a wide, ruched cotton cumberbund but that piece is now missing. Pure cotton shirting fabric, purple, and lavender pinstripes on white. Cloth is in very good condition, still strong.
